Did you break the rules?: Yes or No
No
Explain what happened:
I was on my LEO character and I was at the prison letting someone have visitation since there was no D.O.C. After the visitation was over I escorted the person back inside the main block of the prison. Once everyone was back and they were uncuffed some random prisoner walked out of solitary without being let out and held me up with a broken bottle. He asked me to hand him everything and I did because I didn't want to violate FearRP rules. He then told me to not press my panic button either but at that time I already did. He told me to open up the gates and I followed his orders and let them out but as they stole my truck my backup arrived. We were led on a chase which stopped at sandy where I was banned for "FailRP".
Why should you be unbanned?:
To be honest, this appeal probably won't even be read by the time my ban is up. But I believe I should be unbanned because I listened to his orders and gave him everything I had, but not being able to press my panic button is over the top. In real life, most criminals don't even know cops have panic buttons so how would have know I had one in the first place. In the case that he did know for some random reason, the point of a panic button is to alert other officers that I am in danger and need immediate help without the person who is threatening my life knowing. So he shouldn't of even known I pressed my panic button. But if I was in the same situation in real life, I would have drawn my gun and shot him, because all he had was a broken bottle that is not nearly as deadly as my pistol. I don't believe FearRP should be applied when it is melee versus a pistol, because in real life, a lot of people would have done the same thing. But the thing is I didn't even draw my pistol, I hit my panic button that in real life is hidden and in a place where nobody would see it being pressed.
the issue is, in real life the panic button is on the radio, which you would have to press. I pulled the bottle on you and told you to put your hands up immediately and not to touch your panic button, which you did, meaning you wouldnt have been able to hit it. we also took your radio and comms. This is leading to a police chase that shoud have never happened. You didnt give the RP a chance to play out and hit the button after you were told to put up your hands
