Address to our Community about the removal of a long time member

Without naming names, I am going to address a topic that could soon be a matter of concern, and one we didn't want to address publicly. Some of you will know who I am talking about, we ask that you refrain from openly discussing them.
A staff member was recently removed from staff for an incident of admin abuse that happened. I wanted to make something very clear to our members. This person was not removed for this one incident.
This incident was the final straw in a pattern of rule violations and disrespect for the position in which this person held. A pattern that the entire Head Admin Committee saw when they made their decision as part of the accountability mandate they all upheld.
A pattern of choices and decisions that negatively affected our community, our roleplay experience and the personal lives of those around this person.
No complaint or issue against a staff member is ever ignored, they are all thought about and contemplated quite heavily. Not every situation requires an immediate action that everyone sees, most issues are dealt with through corrective actions and mentoring. As most of our staff can attest to. Some however are so controversial and irrefutable that they warrant immediate harsh action.
This same member after being given the chance to stay in our community decided to lie to the head administration about starting his own server. As some of you will remember, we have had a long string of members who decided to start their own server because they didn't like us. A list that includes GLRP, ERP, ORP, HRP and so many others that have all failed to compete with us.
It was this "lie" that ultimately did him in. His natural proposentiy to lie to members of our community, staff and those he was friends with - is what decided his fate. He will tell many of you that it was personal, or he did nothing wrong, but that simply isn't true.
Maybe you think you can run a server of your own and you can do it your way where the evil HA team and owners aren't going to be dictators that tell you what to do. Some of you will be promised everything you want in order to move servers. Just like hundreds of others over the year DCRP has been around. He will not be able to deliver anything he promises.
We have given so much leeway to this in the past, but after the last incident of this happening, we have zero tolerance. If you want to throw away everything in DCRP to start or join a new server, you will not be welcome back here when it fails. Ask people who have come back if leaving was a good choice.
