Changes to Administration - The Road to 2.0 #2

Part of 2.0 is our commitment to change the way we do a lot of things. Both as an effort to streamline and an effort to not make day-to-day operations centred around a single person.



Part of this change is the creation of the Head Administration Committee. So what will this committee do and who will it contain? Well, that's what I am going to be breaking down here.


The committee will be made up of four senior staff members who will be appointed by the owners - Myself, Roxburyy and Marshal - and they will be responsible for key sections of the community.


The committee will jointly oversee staff accountability, investigate claims of abuse and vote on discipline measures against staff. But this is a small part of what this new team will be doing. Each member of the team will be responsible for a particular area of RP within the city and the oversight of it.


The key areas will include:

- Civilian Communications: Monitoring civilian roleplay experience and recommendations to help make that roleplay better

- Police Liason: Monitoring the police, ensuring police are not abusing their powers and getting feedback from police to help improve the roleplay experience

- Gang Liason: Oversight for gangs to watch for toxic behaviour and to guide aspiring gangs through the whitelisting process. When they think a gang is ready they can bring the whitelist vote to the committee

- Staff Manager: Primarily a Discord-based job, this person will help to train new members of staff when they are hired as well as collect feedback from all other staff to bring to the committee on an official basis.


The committee will meet once per month to discuss each of their responsibilities as well as the committee's joint responsibilities. This will also include the review, interview and hiring of new members of staff.


We hope this will make the senior management of the server easier to understand while also off-loading a lot of work from me. The committee meetings will be open to our community outside of when discussing disciplinary issues regarding staff.
